What's helpful to include

What we can't help with

We're not affiliated with any airline. We can't change your booking, refund excess baggage fees, or override the limit a carrier applied at the gate. For any of that, you'll need to contact your airline directly.

Before you write

A few things that might save you time: common questions about weight limits, overweight fees, and how the calculator works are answered in the FAQ on the main page. If your airline's allowance looks wrong in the tool, it may be that your fare class or route has a different limit — the calculator uses general defaults, not ticket-specific figures. If you've checked those and still have a question, please do get in touch. We also update the item library on a rolling basis, so if you suggested something in the past it may already be in the search on the main page.

Response time

We aim to reply within one to two working days for most messages. Airline corrections and bug reports are prioritised. If you're reporting an error that could cause travelers to misread an allowance, mention that in your message and we'll treat it as urgent. We don't currently offer phone or live chat support.

How to write a useful airline correction

The most useful corrections include: the airline name and IATA code (e.g. FR for Ryanair), the route or region the rule applies to (some airlines have different limits for domestic versus international), the fare tier (economy, plus, business), and a link to the official airline page or fare conditions document showing the figure. Corrections submitted with an official source are applied faster because we can verify them without extra research. If the allowance has changed recently and you have a ticket confirming the new figure, paste the relevant text into your message.

How to write a useful bug report

Describe what you were trying to do, what you expected to happen, and what actually happened instead. Include your browser name and version (Chrome 124, Safari 17, etc.) and your operating system. If the issue only occurs with a specific airline or item, include those details too. A screenshot is often worth a paragraph of description when the problem is visual — paste a link or attach one to your email if you go that route.
